The numbers add up quickly. 2,000 attendees. 100 startups. 30 speakers. 25 countries. 25 partners. But in the end it boils down to one. One day.
The Startup Impact Summit is a keystone event in the week-long Start Me Up HK Festival hosted in Hong Kong by InvestHK. The objective of the conference is to provide meaningful engagement for startup entrepreneurs. There are profile showcases, a jobs fair, workshops, services marketplace, main stage and more.
Karena Belin co-founded W Hub with Karen Farzam to highlight Hong Kong start-ups and job opportunities in the technology industry. Late last year they expanded and launched AngelHub as a platform to help startups access capital at a critical juncture (after seed funds and before major investments).
The festival hosted on 25 January was an “old style” influence opportunity for people to gather, network, meet, learn, and expand their business. Learn how “new world” entrepreneurs grow and learn using old-style networking – and how influencers on stage and off bring crowds to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
